"Volunteer Opportunities" at St Albert Theatre Troupe
As a non-profit community theatre, St Albert Theatre Troupe relies on dedicated volunteers to donate time and skills to our productions. Our season is comprised of three plays, each running for 9 performances, requiring thousands of hours per year. We are very grateful to those who volunteer their time and talent, and in return we offer a nurturing environment where you can learn about and experience the joy and rewards of live theatre. We have descriptions of Volunteer positions to the left, just click to learn more.
We hold auditions at least two months before every production. Everyone is welcome to audition regardless of level of experience. To find out about upcoming auditions, please check this site regularly or join our Facebook group to be notified when auditions are posted. We will also adverise in the local papers, check your classifieds. Go here for audition information
There are many different ways to become involved in a production. Please click on the Production Volunteer links to the left to learn about what is required for each area including time commitments. At every audition we ask for interested backstage and front-of-house volunteers. Just come to the audition and identify yourself to the organizers.
Much of the work required for operating StATT is done by our committee. If you would like to volunteer your time by joining our committee (if a position is available), come to an audition and identify yourself to the organizers.
StATT will be offering ways to help you prepare for your next audition:
